Wpływ prasy na kreowanie życia politycznego i społecznego międzywojennej Łomży na przykładzie „Wspólnej Pracy”

The paper is an attempt to show the impact of the magazine on the creation of political and social life of Łomża in the interwar years. The precise determination of the magazine’s influence on the readers is not possible, because there are no sources or appropriate research tools. The analysis of publications over the years leads to the conclusion that the magazine consistently popularized democratic ideas, supported the development and progress, depicted people's problems and advised solutions. Such a content triggered discussions and led to the transformation of political and social life.
